A morning in Mabul (Semporna Trip 2010 - Part VI)

Share
Hello readers, since im just doing nothing today (last minute cancellation class). im going to continue my very-long-post-about my Semporna 2010 Trip.

So here it goes... in a very sunny day in a far far away island called Mabul. ;)

‘No good travel photo album is complete without the token sunrise or sunset picture!’

While you are enjoying the sunrise, you must be thinking of how to take a better sunrise picture right? same goes to me. i always wanted to have a picture that stood out from the others. use your creativity and come up with many wonderful shots.

Taken at the Borneo Divers Resort, Mabul

Woke up in the early of the morning just to capture the sunrise moment. Me and the others don't waste any time and straight walking to the jetty and to wait for the sun to come out.

Orange-ish color and Sipadan Water Village in a distance.

as you can see in this picture above. the different colors on the sky. where the sun has just risen.

Mabul written on top of the sands.

Human figured silhouette

i always like to capture silhouette. for me the picture will be simple but it tells many story behind it.

change a bit of the setting can turn ur picture into a quite creative like this one whereas the saturation setting is high.

or else you can try to snap a picture from a foreground angle. like this picture where you can see the sun flare throughout the grass.

Thats all for today post. hope you guys enjoy it and let me know your feedback. CnC are most welcome.

Thank you,
CM Ansibin

Merry Christmas !

Share
Hi there my fellow readers!

i would like to wish a Merry Christmas to all my Christian readers in all over the world [duhhh ngee~~] so with that i like to share my Christmas mood of photos that were taken during Christmas celebration at Berjaya Times Square KL and Pavilion KL.

it wont be a Christmas if you didn't portray yourself in Christmas deco and snap it! In this picture i tried to focus on the Ernie Ball and shot it from my upper body angle and let the other subjects in this picture blurred. i also made the colour yellowish a bit.

decolorized except the Ernie Ball

one of the big Christmas trees at Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur.

i like this picture... its kinda set u into a 'something' mood with the Christmas colors and so on.

i didn't took many pictures thou and that time no Christmas songs being played in this big mall. kinda upset-lah cos no mood for Christmas. btw this year will be my 1st celebration Christmas alone... far far away from family back in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. for sure, next year it wont happen again.. im going back home for next Christmas celebration....

last but not least is the Christmas deco in front of the Pavilion. and i guess their decorations was the most interesting one..! i like it..

hohoho

i want to buy portrait lens!!!

Broga Hills

Share
Last Tuesday was public holiday so we (me n my housemates) decided to climb up the Broga Hills in Semenyih, Selangor. BROGA!!!

Lets share what Broga is about. Broga is a small town that sits on the border of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan in Malaysia. It is situated 50 kilometres (31 miles) from Kuala Lumpur and approximately 33 kilometres (21 miles) from Seremban, the capital of Negri Sembilan.

Broga takes its name from the River Broga which runs through the area. The name Broga is believed to be derived from Buragas, a mythical beast that lives in the forest.

The majority of those residing in Broga town are the Chinese. There is also a significant Orang Asli population whose village is located just outside Broga.

Broga is surrounded by the lush green hills of a tropical rainforest and sits on the edge of the Titiwangsa Range.

Dowload the Route HERE. Thanks to GOOGLE MAPS ;)

We departed from Shah Alam (Sec 13) at 4.30am and arrived at 6am Broga Hills. We climbed up and it takes about 40minutes to reach the 1st peak.

6.45am

Kinda suprised-lah.. cos i didn't expect this hills will be very difficult to climb. during that time there was already a lot of people... lagi susah mau naik woooo....

friends

on the way to peak 2

peak 1 view and its surrounding

fantasy feeling isn't it?

Peak 3 on the top

We didn't manage to get into the peak 3 cos too many people and too crowded... haiiizz...

so we decided to turun-lah. and we didnt manage to watch the sunrise cos too cloudy, i guess the sun to shy to come out that day.

C&C are most welcome.... ;)
